Dear Julie,

How goes things and are you still in Bangkok?

I am a new member to MTQuA as I'm sure you know. I am presently trying to assist a new MT&T facility in Rocky Point Mx. and I sure could use some good tips on how to get this new facility to join and become accredited/certified so that the validity and commitment only add to this awesome group venture to promote medical travel and tourism. Any help is much appreciated.

Hope all is well where ever you may be,

Best Wishes,

Rosemary Ulibarri

The root of the word, of course, comes from hypochondriac – a person who believes he suffers from imaginary illness or symptoms.

What a perfect word for a condition that is familiar to any medical travel facilitator who’s been… Continue

Medical Tourism: Here today, here to stay? Or born too soon, gone tomorrow?

If you haven’t yet read Ian Youngman’s article in the latest issue of the International Medical Travel Journal, I urge you to do so.

He asks, What happened to those 2008 medical tourism forecasts? Even the most conservative prediction of 1,6 million medical tourists – more than double 2007 numbers – seems outrageously high.

It suggests that the airline indus… Continue
